Andrew Wigley is a corporate and public affairs specialist with a career spanning in-house, consultancy and the charitable sector. At natural resources firm BHP Billiton, Andrew had corporate affairs and government relations responsibility for Europe, Middle East and North Africa on issues relating to its oil and gas operations in the region.
In consultancy, Andrew spent six years at Burson-Marsteller advising companies such as Visa International, The Coca-Cola Company Africa and KPMG. He also served as a consultant to the UN Capital Development Fund. Andrew began his career in politics, working first in the House of Commons, the House of Lords and subsequently the European Parliament.
Andrew has played a key role in building political and public support for the release of several of our clients. He has broad experience and a deep understanding of governments and the politics of African countries and regions, the Arab States of the Persian Gulf and Europe.
